The 40G QSFP+ LR4 Optical Transceiver Module supports link lengths of up to 10 kilometers over a standard pair of G.652 single-mode fiber using a wavelength of 1310nm with duplex LC connectors. The 40 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over four wavelengths. Multiplexing and demultiplexing of the four wavelengths are managed within the device. This transceiver is compliant with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 and OTU3 C4S1-2D1 standard. It is suitable for data center, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layers, and service provider applications.
