The Cisco QDD-400G-SR8-S compatible 400G QSFP-DD SR8 optical transceiver module supports link lengths of up to 100m over OM4 MMF and uses an MPO-16 APC connector. The module transmits a 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal over eight pairs of parallel fibers, with each fiber carrying a 50 Gigabits per second signal. It is compliant to the IEEE 802.3bm protocol and 400GAUI-8/CEI-56G-VSR-PAM4 standards. The module can provide 400 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity solution for data center, high- performance computing networks, and service provider applications.
