The Juniper QDD-400G-LR8 Compatible 400G QSFP-DD LR8 Optical Transceiver Module supports link lengths of up to 10km over parallel single-mode fiber with Duplex LC Connectors. The 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over eight wavelengths. Multiplexing and demultiplexing of the eight wavelengths are managed within the device. The 400G QSFP-DD LR8 is ideal for use in Data Center applications, such as Ethernet switching and routing, storage area networks and high performance computing. It complies with the IEEE 802.3bs 400GBASE-LR8.
